Abraham Was No Monotheist -  VI

El Most High met and conversed with him in Genesis 18 before destroying Sodom and Gomorrah. He was not referring to the present day, which as usual the Jews misinterpreted, but 2000 years earlier. Can you see where this train of thought is leading?

“57. The Jews then said to Him, “You have not yet (reached) fifty years and have You seen Abraham?” How dumb were those Jews. He was trying to tell them that He was Abraham’s confidante, that He had been sent by El Shadday to correct the record which their forefathers had doctored.

“58. Yeshuwa said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born I AM.” 59. They then picked up stones to throw at Him. But Yeshuwa vanished and left the temple.”

It was such a challenge for Yeshuwa to convince the Jews, whether scribes, Pharisees or Sadducees that Abraham mingled with at least two members of the family of Eluhiym, of which He was one.

Who Is To Blame?

Clergy of whatever faith or religion usually ridicule anyone who challenges their institutional beliefs. However, the blindness of the Jews went back many centuries before Yeshuwa. For this the sons of Tsadoq are to blame. As is well attested by Josephus Flavius in Antiquities 13.5.9 and 18.1.4 as well as War 2.8.14, the Sadducees —  their successors —  were a weird mob.

Like secularists they did not believe that Eluhiym is involved with human affairs (fate) and people only act according to the choices and decisions they make or are made for them. They denied the soul is immortal (i.e. can never die, which it cannot) and is punished or rewarded in ‘Hades’. Yet they comprised the priesthood whose only duty it was to administer the Levitical sacrifices. “This people honours Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me” (Matthew 15:8) about says it all.

Why they only accepted the Five books of Mosheh and not the Prophets is primarily due to the latter describing the many punishments inflicted upon the Yisra’elites after the Exodus.

Why, too, they tampered with the original text is due to El Elyown or El Most High always bringing it about. And they were fed up with Him. The constant fighting filled the people with fear. They could do nothing right and just wanted to live in peace, have families and follow their own religion. No one liked the massacres and especially His appearance with the head of a lamb and seven eyes and seven horns and a sword of light coming forth from His mouth. They hated Him with such venom that they lost their common sense.

It is a no-brainer to know that He despised them and sent them off to the Dark Pit and Lake of Fire after their deaths, as He does with everyone who treats Him as though He does not exist. After all, He is the Judge of all men. “They have their reward” He said of the hypocrites in Matthew 6:1-2,5.

However, Abraham, Yitschaq, Ya’aqob and Mosheh admired and loved Him. So did Manoach and his wife in Judges 13 as well as Noach and his family. He is a beautiful Lord, just not when one rejects and spurns Him. Then He will be one’s worst nightmare. Be warned.

The Where and When

So when the texts of the Books of Mosheh and others were finalised during the Babylonian exile, they took it upon themselves to remove all but one set of references to El Elyown. This was retained at the end of Genesis 14, where the impression is given by Melkitsedeq and the king of Sodom that He and Abram’s El Shadday were one and the same. How cheeky of them.

Apparently Abram never questioned this! From the words of Yeshuwa in John 8 he definitely knew that El Most High and El Provider were different. He has also informed the present writer that Ezra’s father and grandfather played a role in this, while he only delivered the doctored and censored scrolls back to Yeruwshalem.

With the Sadducean disbelief in angels it was easy to call El Most High the Angel of Yahuw’ah when the two were working together. Effectively the sons of Tsadoq obliterated all references to Him like the Egyptians used to do with unpopular pharaohs and their queens. He became a non-entity with either Eluhiym or Yahuw’ah replacing His name.
