The Destroying Priest Of Melkitsedeq -  VIII

They were shared with at least 320 intact men by a circumcised priest (318 + Abram + King of Sodom). Later Abram and all the males in his household would be circumcised and only then would they see the promise fulfilled through Yitschaq. No circumcision, no blessing is the motto of both El Shadday and El Elyown.

Now the bond between Yeshuwa, Abraham and Mosheh is very strong in both Matthew and John’s gospels. And it is from Genesis 14 and 22 that the notion of ongoing human sacrifice has its roots.

However, Psalm 110 may not be discounted. Only a few days previously on Nissan 12 or April 4, 30 CE Yeshuwa had quoted Psalm 110:4 in His discussion with certain Pharisees, including the man who would later become the apostle Paul. As usual he had to twist its meaning, as he did with Theodorus in Hebrews 7.

Clearly these words of David were well-known among the Pharisees and Sadducees. Otherwise why does Yeshuwa ask the question they cannot answer? This is another one of those “pardon me, your slip is showing” incidents. It is very revealing. That psalm also forms an integral part of the Body and Blood Covenant Meal.

According to John 6:50-59, His own human sacrifice is tied to bread and wine as well.

Similar to Melkitsedeq, yet before and not after the battle, the priest-king Yeshuwa (John 18:33-38) brought out the unleavened bread and wine to the Twelve. He was about to sacrifice His own body on the cross for His friends (John 15:13).

“Take, eat, this is My body” and “Drink of it, all of you, for this is My blood of the covenant which for many is poured out for forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:26,28).

It is no accident that Yowceph ben Elim of Sepphoris was descended from King David’s son Nathan, who was a priest. The genealogy in Luke 3:23-38 rightly belongs to Yeshuwa. It features many priestly names and fits in with Yeshuwa being the priest-king forever according to the order of Melkitsedeq in both the past before His incarnation and the future after His ascension and exaltation to Yahuw’ah’s right hand.

Of course, He never served as a priest in Yeruwshalem, yet His adoptive father did, as also His younger brother Ya’aqob (James). Yowceph was the priest and teacher of righteousness of the Scrolls community based at first in Netserah (Nazareth) and then Cana. Ya’aqob succeeded him after Yowceph died in 26 CE.

Which Covenant?

Which covenant does He have in mind? Observe that the adjective new is deliberately missing in Matthew 26:28. It was never spoken or recorded. Jeremiah 31:31-34 therefore cannot apply.

Yet it is cited in Hebrews 8:8-12 and adopted by Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:25 and supposedly Luke in 22:20, who both add the adjective “new” (ή καινή διαθήκη). Yet it is conspicuous by its absence in Matthew 26 and John 6.

Paul and Luke have simply reinvented this sacred meal, tying and binding it to the wrong covenant (“not according to the covenant I made with their fathers”) and then turning it into a memorial of Jesus’ death.

The covenant which Yeshuwa had in mind on the night of His betrayal was the one Yahuw’ah cut with Abram while still intact in Genesis 15:7-21. This follows the important events described in Genesis 14.

Verse 18 says, “On that day El Shadday made a covenant with Abram, saying, ‘To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, et cetera.”

Here just the size of the Promised Land is detailed. At the end of Creating World Weather in the science-based articles section, is a Google Earth 3-D™ mapping image revealing a circle with 32 triangles. From this spinning energy structure all of Earth’s weather is created. And it fits comfortably within the borders laid out by this covenant. Weather is far more than geography.

The contents of that covenant, however, are reinforced with circumcision in chapter 17 and backed up in Psalm 105:8-11 and 1 Chronicles 16:15-18.
