The Destroying Priest Of Melkitsedeq -  VII

Logically, they had abandoned their peers’ obsession with invented oral traditions, including that of the Angel of Yahuw’ah being El Elyown. So a few did get the message. Very impressive for such “offspring of vipers.”

The Significance Of Verse 7

Returning to Psalm 110, this priest-king of Melkitsedeq forever is quite the grim reaper. Death follows Him wherever He points His sword. So many of His enemies are slaughtered that they make a pile high enough to become a footstool for His battle-weary legs, even though He is riding on His White Horse.

This is in keeping with the appearance of the Lamb of Eluhiym with the two-edged sword proceeding from His mouth in Revelation 1:16 and 19:15. All His enemies are swept to their deaths in front and behind and to either side of Him.

It also features very powerful energies which are able to create massive storms and even cause the ground to shake. Sometimes the most destructive earthquakes are given a bit of help. After all, El Most High is possessor of Heaven and Earth.

Why did Paul and Theodorus not see this? Simply because they felt no need to, since they were only interested in verse 4, not its context. Consequently a very false image of Yeshuwa, now Jesus, is given in Hebrews 7.

Of course, as verse 3 suggests, those who follow this priest will volunteer their time as He purges His enemies .

Ponder for a moment the remarks back in Hebrews 4:12. The author is talking about Scripture here, not El Elyown. “For the word of THEOS is living and active and sharper beyond every two-edged (literally two-mouthed: δίστομον) sword, passing through as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and critical of thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Apparently the book is more powerful than the Lord. Again another smack in Yeshuwa’s mouth. Will the insults ever cease?

What, then, is the significance of verse 7 where the Destroying Priest-King calmly drinks from a brook of flowing water, then stands up and raises the severed head of the territory chief who can no longer drink water?

Here one is reminded of a figurative aspect to the event. Yeshuwa drinks from the River of Living Water. Indeed it flows from His innermost being (John 7:37-38). Meanwhile the decapitated chief is destined to be dispatched by the angels to the waterless Lake of Fire (Luke 16:24), there never to drink water again.

The rich man in the parable, by the way, had been delivered by IRV to one of the low lying islands in the Lake. One may refer to these as torture islands or solitary places of torment. They are to be avoided at all costs, if possible, since there is no escaping from them ever.

Final Judgement

Psalm 110:7 indeed speaks of final judgement for the head over much territory. It also predicts the final victory over evil, since Yeshuwa’s nemesis is OM the Dragon. When He has been decapitated and His head held high, then all the slain enemies of the Priest-King forever according to Melkitsedeq can be His footstool. [Will OM re-grow His head in the Lake of Fire or stay like a headless chook?]

Until that time there is no resting on one’s laurels. “Adoniy, rule in the midst of Your enemies at My right Hand, You will find volunteers willing to help you as You fill the nations with corpses” is His brief from El Shadday. Even intact armies unwittingly assist Him.

Sacramental Bread And Wine

After their return from battle Melkitsedeq, king of Shalem and priest of El Elyown, possessor of Heaven and Earth, brought out bread and wine. This was no ordinary bread and wine, but sacramental.
